Warriors Speak Up at Fulton County BRE Meeting

By Published On: February 15, 2026

On Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, Fulton County officials reported that the FBI served a search warrant at the county’s Elections Hub and Operations Center. Amongst the items seized by the FBI were original 2020 voting records.

Violation of Two Statutes

According to ABC News: “Specifically, the warrant listed possible violations of two statutes — one which requires election records to be retained for a certain amount of time, and another which outlines criminal penalties for people, including election officials, who intimidate voters or to knowingly procure false votes or false voter registrations.”

President Trump has repeatedly stated that there was voter fraud in the 2020 election, specifically in Georgia and that this fraud contributed to his election loss.

This embarrassing incident put some Georgia officials in the spotlight and was confirmation for those Georgia citizens who have been declaring the necessity for a review of the 2020 election.

The fact of potential election fraud has also opened the door for a discussion on federalizing elections. (This is a topic for another time, but one that should be thoroughly researched before deciding this is the best solution.)

Who is responsible for elections in Georgia?

According to the Fulton County Website under Fulton County Registration and Elections

“The Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections is responsible for conducting elections for Fulton County registered voters, working in partnership with the Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections (BRE).”

The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections makes preparations for and is responsible for running primaries and elections.

The board:

  • Trains poll workers
  • Tests voting equipment
  • Enforces voting regulations
  • Selects polling locations (where people cast their vote)
  • Certifies the vote

Each of these responsibilities is vital to having free and honest elections.

Poll Workers

Poll workers have a high degree of responsibility in making sure that the election process is carried out accurately and legally. Therefore, training poll workers thoroughly and correctly is critical.

This training includes:

  • Understanding the use of voting equipment and procedures
  • Familiarity with state and federal election laws
  • Knowledge of the duties connected to the type of voting equipment used in each election
  • An oath to follow applicable laws and procedures
  • The training includes poll worker responsibility of ensuring that eligible voters can participate in the voting process

The office of the Secretary of the State is responsible for the training of poll workers.

Voting Equipment

Obviously voting equipment must work correctly for ballots to be properly counted and election results to be accurate and honest. There has been contention concerning the accuracy of our voting machines here in Georgia, sparking demand by some for a revamp of the system. This was covered in one of our recent articles HERE.

Polling Locations

Polling locations are a critical element in the election process and logistics. In order for elections to be fair, they must be accessible to all eligible voters. Wait times, expected turn-out, and convenience are points to consider in making sure that polling locations are easily accessible to all voters

Enforcing Voter Registration

To vote in Georgia, one must be a citizen of the United States and a legal resident of their county. The voter must be at least 17.5 years of age at the time of registration, 18 years old at the time of the election, and not serving a sentence for a felony conviction.

The deadline to register to vote is 29 days prior to the election. Registration can be completed online, in person, or by mail.

Voter Roll Challenges

The official record of eligible voters is called a Voter roll.

Some Georgia groups and individuals have challenged the accuracy and integrity of the Georgia voter rolls, including Jason Frazier. Frazier has been heavily involved in researching the voter rolls since 2020. His research has been highly publicized in Georgia.

Jason contended that the voter rolls contained ineligible voters and filed a lawsuit, which was dismissed. (You can follow Jason at @JasonFrazierUSA on X (X.com).

Certifying the Election

Election certification is the administrative task of the confirmation that the election process has concluded. It is confirmation that every vote has been counted and the results of elections the ballot have been determined.

Officials have a mandatory, nondiscretionary duty to certify elections and they sign off on the completion of the election results.

Until 2020 most certifications across the country were uneventful and went unchallenged. But with the 2020 election, election complacency diminished. The recent FBI raid on Georgia punctuated the fact that the debate over potential voter fraud and demand for accountability are not over.

The meeting on February 12 was open for public content.  Most of the Comments made at the last BRE meeting on were from Warriors!

The comments were earnest, made sense and were based on research and knowledge of the voting process.

Michael Gordon has done a detailed analysis of that meeting, which can be found here.
