Is the Fulton County BRE Failing Its Mission?

By Published On: February 17, 2026

The Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections (BRE) held a regular meeting on Wednesday February 12th. This was the first such meeting after the FBI seized election records from the county on January 28th, as part of an ongoing federal investigation into possible election fraud in the 2020 election.

The 2020 Election Debate

Officially, democrat Joe Biden won the election for president in Georgia over republican Donald Trump by a slim margin of 11,779 votes.

However, President Donald Trump, along with many others, has consistently claimed there was wide-spread election fraud in Georgia, and that he actually received many more votes than his opponent “crooked” Joe Biden in 2020.

As part of the ongoing federal investigation, the federal warrant targeted physical and digital records held at the Fulton County Elections Hub. FBI agents at the site seized over 650 boxes containing physical ballots, digital images, and voting machine records.

Georgia Secretary of State’s Response

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger responded to the federal raid with a strong denial of any wrongdoing:

As Secretary of State, I’ve made Georgia the safest and most secure place to vote. Instead of wasting time and tax dollars trying to change the past with baseless and repackaged claims, let’s focus our efforts on building a safer, more affordable future for all hardworking Georgians.

Deny, Deny, Deny

Furthermore, after the affidavit in support of the federal warrant was unsealed, Fulton County Commission Chair Rob Pitts (D) held a press conference on February 10th, with commissioners Mo Ivory (D) and Dana Barrett (D) by his side, characterizing the underlying accusations as:

..recycled rumors, lies, untruths, and unproven conspiracy theories. Fulton County 2020 elections, they’ve been examined, they’ve been re-examined, they’ve been audited, there have been hand counts under a microscope, and in every instance, we’ve come up clean.

Fight, fight, fight

In his speech, Pitts promised that:

Fulton County will fight this [federal seizure of 2020 election records] with every resource that is at our disposal, and that we will not stop fighting.

Pitts then accused President Trump of trying to “nationalize the elections… having the federal government run elections.” Pitts added that “states run elections, not Congress, and not the White House.” He further accused President Trump of:

treating the [US] Constitution, which is the Law of the Land, as if it were just a suggestion… they’re just doing anything they choose to do at this point in time, disregarding the Constitution altogether.

Pitts ended his press conference by thanking Georgia senators Warnock and Ossoff and Georgia congresswomen Williams and McBath, stating that “They’ve been very helpful to us [in this fight].” Fulton County commissioners Ivory and Barrett were nodding in agreement throughout his speech, so we can safely assume they are in complete agreement with his opinions.

Controversy Continues

Yet, allegations of election misconduct and fraud have persisted ever since the controversial 2020 election, not only in Georgia but throughout the country, and this Fulton BRE meeting demonstrated that the controversy still rages on.

So why is there still so much controversy concerning the 2020 presidential election over five years later?

Denial of lawful representation on the BRE

Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of this controversy, at least in Fulton County, is the fact that the Fulton County Republican Party has been, and still is to this very day, being denied its lawful representation on the BRE by the democratic county commissioners (Pitts, Ivory, and Barrett, Arrington, Abur-Rahman), who hold a majority on the Commission.

We The People

picture of the Constitution in honor of Constitution day

How can We the People take this BRE seriously when members refuse to follow the law, denying the Republican Party equal representation on the BRE?

How can we tolerate such an unfair and unlawful situation to continue? How can we end the elections controversy when these commissioners are failing to do their job?

How can We the People as a whole, have any confidence that the BRE is fulfilling its mission of securing our elections, when the Republican Party is denied equal representation on the BRE by these democratic commissioners?

How can We the People take these commissioners seriously for accusing the Trump administration of violating the law, when they have been, and are still, in violation of the law in denying the Republican Party equal representation on the BRE?

What the US Constitution Says

Pitts claim that neither the Congress nor the White House has the authority to run our presidential elections is provably 100% false. Article I Section IV of the US Constitution clearly states:

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

The US Congress most definitely CAN authorize the executive branch to run all elections of federal officials, including that of the president of the United States.

Since Pitts and his democratic colleagues are incorrectly accusing Trump of ignoring and violating the “Law of the Land”, what else could they be wrong about?

Evidence of problems in 2020

For starters, Raffensperger, Pitts and their gang of “election fraud deniers” are completely wrong about the 2020 election. There is plenty of evidence of problems in that election that warrant a real and independent investigation into who may have committed election fraud.

In all such cases, We the People, on both sides of the aisle, should insist that all those found to have contributed to the failures of the 2020 election should be fired from their jobs, never be allowed to work in our elections again, and those who committed fraud should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Can We the People accept claims that this election was “clean” without looking at the evidence to the contrary? I think definitely not!

Evidence to Examine

So, let’s take a look at some established facts about the 2020 election, so we can put an end to all the false claims of Pitts and Raffensperger and other like-minded officials and their media chorus once and for all:

    • Six sworn affidavits of many Fulton counterfeit ballots.
    • 17,724 more Fulton certified votes than ballot images required to tabulate votes.
    • Drop box video surveillance representing 181,507 ballots destroyed in 102 counties,
    • Improper Chain of Custody forms for 107,000 ballots statewide.
    • Estimated Chain of Custody forms missing for 355,000 ballots statewide.
    • 86,860 voters in 2020 have false registration date prior to 2017, not on 2017 history file;
    • Over 1.7 million original ballot images are lost or destroyed in 70 counties despite state and federal law;

Every one of these failures, if addressed properly, could have changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia!

So, the answer is YES, Fulton BRE, and many other Georgia state and local election officials have FAILED to do their job and should all be fired!

Wide Variance in Citizen Comment

The February 12th Fulton BRE meeting was noteworthy for the extreme contrast between the comments made by several “election fraud deniers” including Pitts, on the one hand, and by so-called “election deniers” such as myself on the other hand.

So how are the rest of We the People supposed to make sense of all this controversy?

What Can Be Done?

Since both sides cannot be right on this issue, how are we to determine which group of “deniers” is telling the truth?

The only reliable way to answer this is to follow the evidence. We cannot take the claims of a “clean”2020 election made by the very officials who are responsible for the mess, seriously, no matter how forcefully they proclaim their cleanliness.

Since “election deniers” like me (i.e. people who want to expose election misconduct) are asking people to look at the evidence, and not the self-serving claims of the elections officials responsible for this fiasco, why then were some residents who gave public comments praising the election officials instead of demanding an investigation of the many allegations of misconduct?

Blind Praise VS Truth Exposed

Those who are offering such “praise” should be talking with those who have evidence of election misconduct, rather than blindly praising those who are being accused of misconduct. The obvious explanation is that these “election praisers” are not interested in exposing election fraud and holding election officials accountable.

Form a Unified Front

This should not be a partisan political battle between Left and Right. We the People of both sides of the aisle should be unified in our demands for proper and independent investigations into all allegations of election misconduct and fraud. The fact that such unity is not happening is a reflection of the ongoing success of those who seek to destroy our Republic by dividing We the People into various hostile groups who are wasting their energy foolishly fighting against each other rather than forming a united front to demand complete transparency and accountability in our elections.

A Call to Unite

I hereby call all on residents of Fulton County to stop praising our election officials who are clearly failing to provide us with honest and secure elections, and to unite with those residents who are already calling for full transparency and accountability in all elections, especially the 2020 presidential election.

If we fail to come together on this and demand full accountability for the failures of the 2020 election, then we all stand to lose much more than any of us can possibly imagine. We are in this fight together whether we realize it or not.

United we stand, divided we fall. Amen 🙏
