On Election Day, vote at your designated polling place in person. Voting is between 7a.m. and 7p.m. Your vote must be in by 7p.m. to be counted. If you don’t know where to vote, put in GA MVP in the search bar. After answering a few questions and you will be informed where to vote.

Be Prepared

Georgia requires a valid photo ID for voting. So, have your driver’s license or US passport ready to show poll workers.  The following forms of ID will also be accepted:

Expired Georgia Driver’s License

Student ID from a Georgia public College or University

Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state

Valid U.S. military photo ID with a photo of the voter

Valid tribal photo ID with a photo of the voter

If you don’t have any of these forms of ID you can receive a voter identification card at the county registrars office if you are eligible. You must provide documentation which includes photo ID or document that shows full legal name and date of birth. Check the registrars office for full details.

If you are over 75 or have a disability you won’t have to stand in line. Notify a poll worker and they will help you.
