Election Integrity
Integrity in Georgia Elections
Like most Georgians, we advocate for fair and transparent elections in Fulton County and all of Georgia.
Our members work to clear voter rolls and volunteer as poll watchers and workers. We attend State Election Board meetings and ask hard questions about proposed Election Integrity Rules. We have studied the election process, stayed apprised of current election issues, and continue to advocate for legislative reforms that provide for fair elections.
As evidenced by events surrounding Georgia elections over the last few years, we have our work cut out for us.
But we are up for the challenge.
The State of Elections in Georgia
“It’s not who votes that counts, it’s who counts the votes.” Joseph Stalin
Free, honest, and transparent elections occur only when every legal vote is protected from potential tampering or manipulation and accurately counted. All cast ballot counts should be available for public review. But according to our intense research and that of several astute citizens into the Georgian election process, we are far from such an ideal election process in our state.
Over the last four years, we have worked with other dedicated citizen groups, tirelessly researching the forensics of the vote count and methods of the 2020 election. The results of the research casts doubt on the legitimacy of the election results in Georgia.
We have learned about dirty voter rolls, hackable machines, software malfunctions, and non-citizens registered to vote! We also discovered the lack of a verifiable paper trail.
With the integrity of our election system in question, our Constitutional freedoms hang precariously in the balance, and solutions are urgently needed.
Paper Ballots and other Proposals
Paper ballets were used in America and across the world for centuries.
We are actively petitioning for a return to the paper ballet system as a proven, secure and reliable replacement of unsecure electronic voting machines.
Paper ballots, manually counted at the precinct level, give voters the confidence that their voices are being heard through an accurate vote count.
Paper ballots are more easily protected from tampering or manipulation. And they provide tangible and auditable records of every vote, allowing for independent audits and recounts.
Taking Action Now
While we are working to implement paper ballots, we support improvements that could be made by the State Election Board now, such as:
- Public Posting of Eligible Voters List Prior to Election
- Public Posting of Voters Who Voted after an Election
- Voter Roll Public Posting and downloadable for free
In summary, as members of the Fulton County Election Integrity Team, our goal is to bring secure and transparent elections to Georgia. But we need help.
If you would like to become involved in our efforts, please contact us below. Don’t worry if you don’t know much about the process of elections. We will guide you on actions you can take to help us ensure that every voter’s voice is heard and respected in Fulton County.
